Rebecca Hill (Director)
Rebecca Hill brings over 30 years of experience in the performing arts as a professional dancer, singer, actress, choreographer, and director. She trained on scholarship at the National Academy of Arts, Missouri State University, and the Royale Ballet of Performing Arts, studying under renowned figures such as Petrus Bosman, Maria Youskevitch, Gus Giordano, and Tony Coppola.
Her diverse performance career includes leading roles in musical theatre, international tours, television appearances, and collaborations with artists like Carman, Michael W. Smith, DC Talk, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Dwight Yoakam. She performed with the Mel Tillis Show and served as lead dancer and assistant to world-famous illusionists Kirby VanBurch and Andre Kole.
Rebecca is the co-founder of Ministry in Motion, a nonprofit born out of Carman Ministries, dedicated to reclaiming dance for God’s glory. She also served as the Artistic and Creative Director/Choreographer for large-scale productions with Premier Designs Inc., producing annual patriotic shows for audiences of up to 10,000.
She was one of the founding directors of Cornerstone Performing Arts Academy, where she directed musicals, showcases, and taught all levels of voice, drama, dance, and musical theatre. She later joined Victory Hill Productions, where she collaborated with Marvel Studios, Warner Bros., and Hasbro to help produce immersive global experiences like Avengers Station and Jurassic World.
Rebecca is overjoyed to serve as Director of Performing Arts at Growing Minds Performing Arts Center. Her greatest passion is to glorify God through the arts while encouraging students to discover, develop, and use their gifts for His Kingdom.
Susan Galvin, MD
Susan is a classically trained pianist who has been playing for more than 45 years. Her first professional gig as a piano accompanist was at age 13; her experience includes accompanying choral and solo voice, youth violin orchestra, and chamber group.
She has been a church pianist and vocalist for almost 30 years, and for the past 8 years she has been the Worship Team Leader at Spring Meadows PCA Church.
Additionally, she has experience in costume design, construction and alteration, as well as prop design and construction. She practiced board-certified Family Medicine for 26 years, and is a veteran of the United States Air Force. She is excited to have a “second act” involving her creative talents where she can continue to use them for God’s glory!
Tara Foy (Ballet Mistress)
Tara Foy is a world-renowned ballet mistress recognized for her dedication to classical tradition and artistic integrity. She has served as ballet mistress coach, répétiteur, ambassador, children’s ballet mistress, and choreographer for Nevada Ballet Theatre, and as Resident Ballet Mistress for Cirque du Soleil. She has coached principal dancers from major ballet companies including The Royal Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, New York City Ballet, American Ballet Theatre, Miami City Ballet, and the National Ballet of Cuba. Renowned for her refined eye and musical authority, she is sought after internationally as a master teacher and répétiteur.
At Growing Minds Performing Arts Center, Tara brings her wealth of professional experience, passion for excellence, and commitment to healthy, dynamic movement to inspire and nuture dancers of all ages-helping each student build strong technique, confidence, artistry, and a lifelong love of dance.
Jane Ann Bartell (Guest Instructor)
Originally from New York, Jane began dancing at age 5 under renowned teachers including Debbi Dee, Phil Black, and tap legend Henry LeTang. By 18, she had moved to NYC to train with Phil Black and Michele Assaf. She has performed in every state in the U.S. (twice) and internationally in the Bahamas, Mexico, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Italy, and Israel.
Her musical theatre credits include six national and international tours of 42nd St., three productions of A Chorus Line, and roles in Will Rogers Follies, Sweet Charity, Pippin, South Pacific, and more. Jane performed for six years with the Radio City Rockettes, including their first national tour and Las Vegas run, where she also assisted Maurice Hines. She’s danced with headliners such as Susan Anton and Rip Taylor, and has appeared in numerous TV specials and industrials.
A former member of the rhythm tap trio Commotion, Jane has also choreographed for cruise lines and theme parks. Now based in Las Vegas, she continues to share her passion through teaching and choreography. Jane says, “It is with great conviction and passion that I wish to continue to pass on the love of dance and the musical theatre arts to the next generation.”
Darin Bradford
Mr. Bradford brings over 35 years of piano teaching experience.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Missouri State University.
An accomplished concert pianist and songwriter, he has performed all over the world.
He currently serves as Music Director at Good Samaritan Church in Las Vegas, where he has led inspiring music programs for the past 10 years.
He has a heart for serving the Lord with his music and loves introducing children to the world of piano.
Michelle Perks
Michelle is an accomplished performing artist and dedicated educator with a lifelong passion for the stage. With a resume that includes television, film, and national tours in musical theatre, she brings real-world experience in acting, singing, and dance to the classroom.
Performing since childhood, she now shares her love of the arts with the next generation, helping students discover their unique voices and build confidence through creative expression.
Her classes emphasize collaboration, imagination, and discipline – core values that support artistic growth and personal development. She is proud to be a part of GMPAC, where she can foster a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to shine and find joy in the creative process.
Kiersten Sims
Kiersten has been passionate about the arts since the age of 4, training in dance, theater, and voice. She is currently a junior at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, where she is a double major in Theater and Dance.
Her stage experience is extensive for her age, with numerous productions and leading roles—including Ariel in Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. and Miss Scarlett in LVA’s production of Clue. For the past three years, Kiersten has joyfully worked with preschool dancers, bringing both professional training in early childhood dance and her background in Love and Logic to the classroom.
Kiersten’s love for Christ, children, and the arts shines brightly as she leads her little dancers with patience, joy, and a commitment to excellence.
Oliver Fairbairn
Oliver is a trained dancer who has been performing for over 11 years. In addition to his extensive dance training, he has studied both vocal performance and theatre, and has performed with multiple professional dance companies and had leading roles in many musicals.
He currently attends the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, where he continues to expand his knowledge across a variety of dance styles.
Both of Oliver’s parents are retired professional dancers who have played a significant role in shaping his path, encouraging him not only to learn, but also to share and impart his knowledge with others. He aspires to teach artistry and independence through movement, while helping students build strong technique.
