Security & Safety
Safety of our students and staff is a top priority.

At Growing Minds, your child’s safety is something we take personally. Our campus security program is led by experienced professionals and thoughtfully designed around prevention, visibility, and clear procedures. Security officers are present throughout the day—monitoring entry points, walking the campus, and conducting regular perimeter checks—to help maintain a safe, calm environment.
Just as important, we prioritize communication and relationships. Our team works closely with staff and builds trust with students so concerns can be shared early and addressed quickly. Families can feel confident knowing their children are learning in a secure, supportive space where safety is part of everyday care.

Our Approach to Safety

Controlled Campus Access
Only authorized visitors enter campus. We monitor entry points, verify check-ins, and keep doors and gates secured so students stay protected throughout the day.
Highly Visible Security Presence
Our officers are present and moving all day—walking the campus, checking perimeters, and staying visible near key areas like entrances, drop-off/pick-up, and school buildings.
Ongoing Training and Experience
Our team is armed, trained and certified on all weapons and have a combined 91 years of law enforcement experience.
Safety Drills + Emergency Preparedness
We practice and review procedures regularly—including lockdowns, evacuations, and shelter-in-place—so staff know exactly what to do while keeping the environment calm and supportive for students.
Communication-First Culture
We take concerns seriously and encourage staff to speak up immediately if something feels off—no issue is too small. Our officers build trust with staff and students so information moves quickly when it matters.
